The WebPasties affiliate program stores a 30 day cookie on the visitors' computer so you get compensated even if they choose to surf around for a couple weeks before signing up at WebPasties. This means that you can now host self updating tickers on your site that have headlines originating from a remote site. The reception of the RSS feed support has been nothing less than phenominal with it even listed on Ingenius Uses of RSS Feeds . In addition, the News Ticker has undergone improvements in performance while at the same time offering customizable font sizes for news titles and news content. Slideshow Enhancements The Slideshow pastie now performs the fade transitioning effect with the increasingly popular Firefox web browser. The only caveat is that your slideshow image width and height need to match exactly with the width and height of the image on your website .
Furthermore, the image scan feature of the Slideshow pastie has gotten smarter. Now, when you click the Scan button, the Slideshow pastie will not only retrieve the image filenames but will also make a stab at getting their width and height. If there aren't bandwidth issues and the width and height of all the images are retrieved successfully, then the width and height of the slideshow image will be automatically set for you.
