| Lets say you have a classroom full of students but only one computer. What you want is the students to line up behind the computer and vote for the homeroom president much like a polling station. This How To describes the steps you would take to create a Web Poll that behaves like a polling station. Step 1. Create the Web Poll pastie with the question and vote choices you want voted on. Step 2. Select the custom setting which permits multiple voting. ![]() Step 3. Set the volume on your computer to its maximum level. ![]() The reason we do this is because each time a person votes, an audio clip is played which says "Thank You". If the volume is loud enough, a person will not be able to vote twice without being ratted out by the person behind them. Step 4. (Final step) If you want to be extra cautious and protect yourself from a person maliciously muting the volume before voting, you can use a locked browser such as Simpliciti. A locked browser makes it virtually impossible for users to change your computer settings such as volume. Here is the link where you can download a free trial of their locked browser. |
