Event Signups FAQ's

Why should I use this signup software rather than Evite®?
With Evite®, your visitors are sent on a detour to the Evite® website. Once there, they have to sign up with Evite. With WebPasties, you keep your visitors on your site. Your brand identity remains intact.
Can I edit my signup information after I have signed up?
Yes, just sign up again typing in your full name exactly as you entered it previously (it will likely be filled in for you), and then make the necessary changes.
After signing up for an event I don't see my name listed?
You need to click the "Refresh" or "Reload" button on your Web browser. You should see your name listed then.
Can I put more than one event signup on my webpage?
Yes, you can put as many event signups as you want on a single webpage.
But I don't have a website?
That's OK. Simply specify when you create your event signup that you do not have a website and WebPasties will host it for you on their site.
I want people to be able to signup, but I want only me - not them to see who has signed up?
Check out our How To titled How to Hide the Event Signups From Your Visitors .
Is there a way to make it so that only the Event Signup reloads (not the entire page) after a person signs up for an event?
Yes there is. Check out the How To titled How to Isolate Webpage Reloading to Only Your Pastie.
My email notifications wind up in my bulk mail folder. Can I get them to go into my inbox?
Try adding "notify_robot@webpasties.com" to your address book. Your spam filter will likely treat it as regular email from then on.
Can I change the default text for the event signup I create?
Yes, simply click on the "My Account" link and then specify the default text that you wish for your signups.
Can I reuse an HTML template for my event's description?
Yes, just click on the "My Account" link and then insert your template HTML code into the "Default Description" box. Do NOT include document tags with your HTML code such as <BODY>, <HEAD>, <HTML>, etc.
What is your privacy policy?
We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information with anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you emails based on your request for information and to contracted service providers for purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you.
I have a general question that is not specific to the Event Signup pastie. Where do I go?
Go to the General WebPasties FAQ's page for pre-sales and general questions.
