Web Polls for your website or weblog

Web Polls FAQ's

Why should I use this software rather than Yahoo!® Polls?
With Yahoo!® Polls, your visitors are sent on a detour to the Yahoo!® Polls' website. Once there, they still have to sign up with Yahoo. With WebPasties, you keep your visitors on your site. Your brand identity remains intact.
How does the Web Poll remember that I have voted?
A cookie is stored on your system after you vote. In addition, your unique IP address is recorded. The Web Poll will then check to see if that cookie is stored on your system or if a vote has been made from your IP address. If such is the case, the Web Poll will not allow you to vote again.
Can I put more than one Web Poll on my webpage?
Yes, you can put as many web polls as you want on a single webpage. For information on how to make it so that after each vote the entire page is not refreshed, check out the How To titled How to Isolate Webpage Reloading to Only Your Pastie.
But I don't have a website?
That's OK. Simply specify when you create your web poll that you do not have a website and WebPasties will host it for you on their site.
My email notifications wind up in my bulk mail folder. Can I get them to go into my inbox?
Try adding "notify_robot@webpasties.com" to your address book. Your spam filter will likely treat it as regular email from then on.
I want a bunch of people to be able to vote on the same Web browser. Can I make my Web Poll act like a polling station?
Yes you can. Check out the How To titled How to Create a Web Poll that Acts Like a Polling Station.

I have a general question that is not specific to the Web Poll pastie. Where do I go?
Go to the General WebPasties FAQ's page for pre-sales and general questions.
